MARK WATSON HAS VARIOUS PROBLEMS

Brand new pilot from multi-award winning trio Mark Watson, Sam Simmons and Will Adamsdale where they attempt to unscramble one of life’s enduring problems, riddles or mysteries, for example: Mental or physical strength, which is best?

Nobody denies that strength is important. But what form should it ideally take? Without mental strength you can fall to pieces if Contactless isn't working, but without physical strength you can't get the lids off jars and it's too easy for people to tweak your ears and so on.

Watson peddles his unique, high-octane stand-up while Simmons and Adamsdale chip in with interjections which include (but are not limited to) pieces of sheer lunacy, music, shopping lists, avant-garde offerings, and prop-heavy set-pieces which don’t work.

Mark Watson is a multi award-winning comedian, including the inaugural If.Comedy Panel Prize 2006. He is assisted by Sam Simmons, winner of Fosters Edinburgh Comedy Award 2015 and Will Adamsdale who won the the Perrier Comedy Award in 2004.

DON'T MAKE ME LAUGH with DAVID BADDIEL

After a barnstorming first series, Don’t Make Me Laugh returned for a second series to BBC Radio 4, created and hosted by David Baddiel. It asks comedians to do the one thing they hate above all else - NOT get laughs.

In front of a studio audience, our comedians will face the challenge of going up the mike in front of a live audience and not getting laughs. If a comedian gets a laugh, he or she loses the mike, and it passes to the next comedian - and the one who can keep going without getting a laugh for the longest time gets the most points. But it won't be easy - in each round, they'll be given inherently funny topics like 'bottoms' or 'my most embarrassing sexual experience' or 'why David Cameron's face looks like a big ham'. With some very funny (but not for them) forfeits if they stray off-topic.

Don't Make Me Laugh is a chance to watch some of the country's top comedians fight tooth and nail against their most natural instincts. There will certainly be plenty of laughter - but only some of it deliberately.

Appearing during series 2 were: Frank Skinner, Hugh Dennis, Jo Brand, Katherine Ryan, Aisling Bea, Sara Pascoe, Lee Mack, Joe Lycett & Mark Watson and the shows were recorded at The RADA Studios (formerly The Drill Hall), near Goodge Street tube station.

Although we have no details of further recordings of this show, if you would like to add your details to our mailing list here, we can email you with details of possible future recordings.

Each episode, Katie Hopkins will be joined by well-known celebrities, comedians and high profile experts who each present and argue the case for a rule on everyday life, with a special guest celebrity there to keep the panel and Katie in check. Before each show the contestants are asked hundreds of probing, funny and surprising questions all about themselves. TRODD EN BRATT SAY 'WELL DONE YOU'

Join us for a brand new series of the Radio 4 comedy sketch show - an hour of stimulating silliness, bizarre characters and improvisation from the minds of Ruth Bratt and Lucy Trodd. (They may sound like the latest Scandinavian crime duo, but they’re English and so is the show – no subtitles required!)

Jaded (sorry, “experienced”) comedy circuit veteran Ruth Bratt (Quick Cuts, Ministry of Curious Stuff, Derek, Mongrels) and “serious circuit” enthusiast Lucy Trodd (famous for her fruit impressions), two of the stars of BBC Radio 4’s Showstoppers, form the warmly absurd double act Trodd En Bratt.

Their characters range from lovably awkward to the very silly, all held together by the wonderfully warm chemistry between Ruth and Lucy. You’ll see a set of character-led sketches - everything from stag-do lads trying to 'out-lad' each other, to farting choristers, to extremely loud, joke-telling tourists and 1940’s Divas who run a lighthouse together.

"A delight to watch: totally at ease while sparring with one another entertainingly" The Guardian
“Uproarious character sketch show: a pot pourri of the weird, the wonderful and the downright demented, held together by winning onstage chemistry.” The Metro

The show was recorded at The RADA Studios, off Tottenham Court Road, central London.

I LIVE WITH MODELS

If ignorance is bliss, these guys are on Cloud 9!

When regular guy Tommy is discovered as a hand model, he finds himself ‘living the dream’ with three young models in a Miami apartment. Only it’s one of those dreams where your roommates think eating junk food is a cry for help and you’re always the ugliest person in the room.

Tommy is a hapless slob whose teenage years prepared him for rejection and humiliation – so when his perfect hands catapult him into the ruthless world of modelling, he can take everything it throws at him. The hard part is dealing with his new roommates – a rebellious Brit, a muscled lothario and a neurotic catwalk diva.

I LIVE WITH MODELS is a brand new Comedy Central sitcom set on the fringes of the fashion industry about the everyday adventures of four naïve 20-somethings coming face to (flawless) face with the real world, starring David Hoffman (Bridesmaids) Brianne Howey (Horrible Bosses 2) and Rebecca Reid (New Girl).

The show is written by Jon Foster & James Lamont (writers of The Harry Hill Movie, The Armstrong & Miller Show), with Ash Atalla (producer of The IT Crowd and The Office) as Executive Producer.

88 Keys is a new sitcom starring the multi award-winning stand-up and composer and co-creator of Matilda Tim Minchin, from the producers of Spaced, Black Books, Rev and Friday Night Dinner.

Charlie (Tim Minchin) is a loudmouth cocktail pianist with grand ambitions. Amy is a walking failure about to have her first brush with responsibility. This pair of monstrous rampaging ego-morons have just one thing in common -- they both find themselves under the employ of The Carlton Arms Hotel. And when a rare fruit causes unseen complications, Charlie and Amy find their futures irrevocably entwined...

Sparks WILL fly. Cos this hotel ain't big enough for the both of them. (Although there is a lovely function room.)

Also starring as Haif the barman is BAFTA award-winning Kayvan Novak, who received Best Comedy Performance for Fonejacker.

Written by Jon Brown (Fresh Meat, Misfits), directed by Martin Dennis (Men Behaving Badly, Friday Night Dinner) and produced by Nira Park (Black Books, Spaced, Shaun of The Dead, Hot Fuzz).

Big Talk's Kenton Allen says: "Tim Minchin is without doubt one of the most multi-talented performers in the world and we are utterly delighted he's fallen in love with Jon Brown's rather brilliant script. 88 Keys is sort of the son-of-Black Books as it .... reunites Nira Park with director Martin Dennis and many of the dream team behind the success of Black Books. Fingers crossed, early days and all that, but we're all a bit excited about this one.'
