COUNT ARTHUR STRONG
Graham Linehan – BAFTA award-winning writer of Father Ted and The IT Crowd and Sony Gold Comedy Award-winning writer and actor Steve Delaney, the creator of Count Arthur Strong, return with a brand new series of Count Arthur Strong on BBC One.

This is the third series in the world of Count Arthur Strong – once a variety entertainer and now an ever-optimistic dreamer and schemer, given to delusions of grandeur, selective memory loss, terrible money-making schemes and the blurting out of malapropisms. Arthur is still getting involved in any opportunity that comes along - creating chaos and confusion wherever he goes, blissfully unaware that he has done so.

Arthur’s reluctant friend Michael (Rory Kinnear), son of Arthur’s old double-act partner, is as ever struggling to work out why he sticks around, but he still hopes to make a success of his stuttering writing career and his on-off relationship with Sinem, sister of the owner of Arthur’s favourite café.

Favourite characters Bulent, Eggy, and John The Watch are joined by new friends in the café for more extraordinary and unlikely adventures in Arthur’s chaotic world.

The show was recorded at Pinewood Studios.
