Let's Get a Good Thing Going is a brand new BBC1 show hosted by The One Show's Kevin Duala which celebrates the unsung community champions across the UK who tirelessly work to improve life for their neighbours.

Each episode highlights four community champions who each have an idea that could make a BIG difference in their community - all they need is a small amount of money to get the idea off the ground. And that money comes from their neighbours and fellow citizens who care a great deal about their neighbourhood and who each donate a minimum of £1 to have their say! This adds up to a considerable pot of money with a target of at least £500.

We shall hear all four ideas and then vote on who should be awarded the money and start their project. Later, the cameras will catch up to see what happens!

It’s a feel good celebration of the unique community spirit across Britain, and highlights just how powerful grassroots projects can be. It’s a showcase of the very real changes that unsung heroes can make to peoples lives.

Let's Get a Good Thing Going is filming for five evenings in five towns during October and on Tuesday 10th October, we'll be in Hebden Bridge.
