THE GINGE, THE GEORDIE & THE GEEK
As the opening titles reveal the comedy trio clad in only their freshly ironed underpants, we gaze at their pasty dimpled flesh and wobbly manscaping and it’s clear that they know funny.

Bringing a fresh surreal twist to the comedy world, The Ginge, The Geordie and The Geek is a sketch show. As much of the studio material as possible will be filmed in front of the studio audience, but there will also be pre-records filmed earlier and played in for the studio audience to see. The series stars comedy trio Graeme Rooney, Paul Charlton and Kevin O’Loughlin (and has been co-written by unseen fourth member and live director John Hoggarth), and will be recorded at BBC Scotland’s Pacific Quay studios in Glasgow from the end of November this year. It will be screened on BBC Two in 2013.

"After four years of hard work, millions of dodgy props, a swimming pool of sweat, and hours in the rehearsal room, we've been given an amazing opportunity to bring our comedy to a wider audience," say the Ginge, the Geordie and the Geek.

Robert Gray, Executive Producer for Yalli, adds: "It’s fantastic news that BBC viewers will get to know their hilarious collection of lovable rogues, furry misfits, angry trolls and criminal seagulls. Their sideways take on life is truly unique and of course very funny."
