Reversal Of Fortune was an exciting, brain-twisting TV quiz in which contestants who could see things differently defeated their opponents and boosted their bank balance.

The contestants competed in answering questions which were increasingly difficult and increasingly rewarding. After 10 questions, the contestant with the most cash was faced with a dramatic dilemma: either quit the show with cash already won or gamble it by tackling the show’s final question – worth £10,000.

There was just one final twist: “deppilf erew wohs eht ni snoitseuq eht lla". That’s to say – all the questions in the show were flipped and shown to the contestants in reverse!

It was a unique, fast-moving irresistible game guaranteed to grab the imagination of all quiz and game show fans.

The show was recorded at BBC TV Centre.
