Thanks for your many enquiries about this show. Here are the answers to some of your questions:
We are trying to be as fair as we can about issuing the tickets.
We ask standby ticket-holders to let us know if they cannot attend. If people do this, we can then pass these on. Therefore we do not email those who have been unsuccessful - they may get returns later!
To try to be fair to everyone who may only be able to access their emails at different times of day, for this event, we took applications up until midnight on Thursday 16th June 2011. After this time, standby tickets were allocated randomly from amongst those who have applied.
If you did not receive tickets, we are sorry. We simply did not have space to offer a ticket to everyone who applies for this event.
Standby tickets do not guarantee entry. Tickets have been allocated to the celebrity guests. If these folk do not show up (and, yes, this does happen!), then standby ticket holders will be admitted. Fingers crossed!
We base the number of standby tickets issued on the ticket performance of each type of ticket at previous events. Therefore, while we hope to accommodate all of those who attend, it is possible that we shall not. A standby ticket is therefore not suitable for everyone.
We are issuing a maximum of two tickets per person for this event, to try to give as many applicants as possible the opportunity of attending.
